The Prolyte Campus is Coming to Dubai!
The masterminds behind the world-renowned Prolyte Black Book will be running two FREE training days.
Provision AVL teams up with Prolyte Group to deliver a two-day training opportunity focusing on health and safety, rigging, and trussing.
Led by Eric Laanstra, this Prolyte Campus event is a great introduction to the world of rigging, truss and staging. Alternatively, it’s a fantastic chance to brush up on your knowledge, network with peers, and ask burning questions.
The Prolyte Campus event will be held in cooperation with Provision AVL.
The event will be held on May 2nd and 3rd 2017 at our Warehouses in Al Quoz 1.
Places are limited and are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if you’d like to attend, please email us on email@example.com along with your contact info with the Subject line “Prolyte Campus Dubai”.
Both days will include the same subjects so attending one day should suffice.
Hoping to see you there!
UAE: Dubai-based A/V solutions provider MediaKraft, has added more than 400 sq-m of Prolyte StageDex to its inventory in recent months. Prolyte’s regional distributor, Provision AVL, supplied the staging solutions, along with adjustable telescopic legs.
‘The reason we went with Prolyte stage decks is because of their good quality, it being lightweight and at the same time offering high load capacity,’ explained Fahad Khan, stage manager at MediaKraft. ‘The whole package works out very well for our events’ requirements.’
StageDex is a range of modular stage decks, designed for use as temporary and demountable stages. Each unit is built with an aluminium frame for strength and versatility.
‘We have used the stage decks for many of our regular events,’ furthered Mr Khan. ‘These include the Dubai Sugar Conference, the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) Awards, the Abu Dhabi cycle tour and Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu.’
‘It’s clear why MediaKraft went with Prolyte Stagedex. It’s the most reliable modular and lightweight stage system available in the market today,’ said Kevin Boujikian. ‘The Prolyte Stagedex decks come in handy in every possible way, including being adaptable to scaffolding systems.’
Dubai Opera has invested in ProLyft Aetos hoists and Prolyte S36 truss to support their in-house facilities for the main auditorium.
The 2,000-seat multi-purpose venue is designed for a variety of genres, including opera, ballet, classical, concerts, art exhibitions, weddings, and corporate events.
Inside Dubai Opera, the main auditorium can be reconfigured, depending on the type of performance. A second, smaller space seating around 250 people can be used to run education workshops, rehearsals, pre-performance talks or other events.
The spectacular building is shaped like a wooden dhow, the ‘hull’ containing waiting areas, drop-off area and parking; the ‘bow’ containing the concert halls, a rooftop garden and a restaurant that will open soon.
The Prolyte equipment was supplied by Prolyte distributor, Provision AVL: “Being able to support Dubai Opera with all their truss and hoist needs, really makes a difference” states Kevin Boujikian, General Manager of Provision AVL.
“The extended local support and quick responses we could offer as a Prolyft Service Point fueled Opera House’s enthusiasm to work with Prolyte”.
One thing is a certainty: The investment in Aetos hoists, S36 truss and S100F trusses, is a good solid beginning.
